Zhongnan University Of Economics And Law (ZUEL)

The Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (ZUEL; Chinese: 中南财经政法大学; lit. ‘Central-Southern University of Finance, Economics, Political Science and Law’) is a public university in Wuhan, China. The university is funded by the Ministry of Education.

ZUEL was established in 2000 with the merge of Central South University of Finance and Economics and Central South Institute of Law (Chinese: 中南政法学院). Its root could be traced to 1948 when Zhongyuan University (Chinese: 中原大学; lit. ‘University of Central China’) was founded in the Province of Henan and later moved to Wuhan.

Renowned as a leading institution of China in economics, finance, statistics, management, and law, ZUEL is designated as one of the national key universities funded by the Double First Class University Plan and former Project 211.[1][2] In 2018, it was selected in the Plan 111.[3] As of 2022, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law ranked # 1 in the South Central China region and top 4 nationwide among all universities specialized in finance, business, and economics in the Best Chinese Universities Ranking.

Foreign student apartments are the resident places specially provided for international students. Single room: 1350/month Double room: 750/month Basic apartment facilities include bed, writing desk, chairs, wardrobe, bookshelf, reading lamp, fridge.
